APARTMENT MANAGER

Our Apartment Managers are responsible for the day to day operations of our Senior Living Apartment complexes. We strive to optimize the independence of our Seniors and provide high level service to support their needs. As an essential leader, our managers ensure the comfortable and hospitable living of our residents and their visitors. Supervise work for completion, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.

 

DEPARMENT:  Senior Living/Enriched Living

STATUS:  Full Time

SHIFT:  Day shift, Monday- Friday

             Occasional on-call for emergent needs.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise support staff in the daily operations.
  • Take a positive and innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Present ideas in a clear and concise manner in order to negotiate and modify operations to reach department goals.
  • Following HUD guidelines, review and process applications for residence and re-certifications for current residents.
  • Inspect vacant unity, ensure clean, repaired and painted ready for next move in.
  • Review and process invoices submitted by vendors for accuracy.
  • Responsible for direction of loss prevention, risk management, maintenance, and safety/security.
  • Manage tenant relations to respond to requests for repair and maintenance, as well as a thorough understanding of rent charges, lease issues, and other concerns.
  • Maintain complete and accurate resident property files and records according to HUD regulations. 
  • Coordinate regular communication with Weinberg Personnel.

ATTRIBUTES OF SUCCESSFUL HOSPITALITY AIDES:

  • High school diploma/GED required. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in property management highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or senior population highly preferred.
  • Understanding of and ability to execute budgetary.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
